WISE-7115 is a Web Inside Smart Engine (WISE) device developed by ICP DAS. Fit for use as a control units for remote logic control and monitoring, WISE-7115 provides an intuitive and user-friendly web interface that allows users to implement IF-THEN-ELSE control logic on controllers with limited to no programming by the user. With its powerful and easy-to-use features, it will minimize the learning curve, shorten time to market and dramatically reduce the effort and cost spent on system development.
The WISE-7115 device adheres to the IEEE 802.3af-compliant (classification, Class 1) Power over Ethernet (PoE) specification. With the ability to receive power from PoE enabled networks through Ethernet pairs (Category 5 Ethernet cable), this gives greater flexibility, higher efficiency, and simplified systems design which thus saves space, reducees cables usage, and eliminate the need for additional electrical outlets. For non-PoE environment, the WISE-7115 device can still be powered through other power sources such as AC adapters and batteries.
The WISE-7115 module supports Modbus/TCP protocol for seamless integration with SCADA software. It features a 16-bit, 3-wire 7-channel RTD input. Each channel (supported by 3-wire RTD lead resistance elimination) is individually configurable for various temperature ranges.
