This simple device is compatible with new and legacy RS-232 devices. It comes with the CA-USB18 cable. It can help users eliminate the need for manual configuration of IRQ, DMA, or I/O port settings. By connecting it with a host PC and a RS-232 device like PLC, modem, and the iP-8447 Windows CE 5.0 embedded programmable automation controller, it can easily convert the data from the PC to these RS-232 devices at a fast speed.
The I-7560U features a full set of RS-232 modem data and control signals (TxD, RxD, RTS, CTS, DSR, DTR, DCD, RI and GND) on its PC compatible DB-9 male connector. It also features a high-speed 115200 bps transmission rate. You do not need a power supply to power this device as the I-7560U can be easily powered from the USB port.
