With Windows Compact Edition, users were allowed all of the luxuries of a Windows based operating system, while offering the industrial reliability, and virtually crash-proof environment, of a purpose oriented, and streamlined OS.

It has built in video port, keyboard port, mouse port, USB port and Ethernet port and 128 MB Compact Flash Module. For PLC users, it provides HMI and logic all in one and Windows programming environment. For PC users it provides a powerful hardware platform and robust Windows CE environment
